THE VOICE OF CHELLANAM

Chellanam is a coastal area , 20 km from Kochi. It has been about 10 years since they applied for the construction of a sea wall to save their lives. The authorities are turning a blind eye to those people who brought up flood - ravaged Kerala. This is an opportunity to give a helping hand to those who have lead as a hand during the Flood periods even if there is no substitute. They lined up with their boats for us. We also have a moral responsibility to stand with them in today's problems. We can do our best to draw the attention of the government, the media and the general public to their long-standing need for a seawall. They have not left us alone. They will not be alone with us.
